OLIVER L. WILLIAMS
CANANDAIGUA: Oliver Williams, 62, died March 5, 2011 at his Candlewood Home.
Mr. Williams was born in Alabama on Oct. 12, 1948 and served with the U.S. Air Force in Viet Nam. Mr. Williams had been employed by the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua for many years. Oliver was actively involved with several veterans groups and was a passionate and proud member of AA.
He is survived by his son Anthony (Errica) Williams of Trussville, AL; his mother Mary McCreary of Gary, ID; 3 grandchildren Jalen, Gavin and Sydni and his sisters Brenda J. Jackson, Jacqueline Meyers and Pamela Davis.
Friends are invited to gather at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until noon. Funeral services will be held at the Davenport and Harris Funeral Home, 301 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive S.W., Birmingham Alabama. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Montevello, Alabama.
