Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother
Canandaigua- Helen C. Catalfamo, former Tillotson St. resident, passed away with her family by her side March 6, 2012 at Crest Manor Nursing Home in Perinton.
Helen is predeceased by her husband, Santo Catalfamo; parents, Joseph and Rosa DeRosa; brother, Frank DeRosa; sister, Vincentia Rizzi; brothers-in-law, Ted Mauro, Al Guerriri, Pete Pacilio, Joe, Jim and Frank Catalfamo; sisters-in-law, Janet DeRosa, Mamie Valvano, and son-in-law, Joe Jantzen.
She is survived by her children, Jim Catalfamo, Carm Jantzen, Steve (Marinella) Catalfamo; grandchildren, Cathy (Bill) D’Arduini, Christina (Walter) Rodman, Mike (Amy) Pickering, Tony (Rebecca) Catalfamo, Jamie Lee and Michelle Catalfamo; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Madeline Pacilio, Margaret Mauro, Rosie (James) Lenzi, Ida Guerriri; and brother, Dan DeRosa.
Helen also leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law, Tina Catalfamo, Nick Valvano, Rocco (Anne) Catalfamo, Yolanda DeRosa, Vilma and Joyce Catalfamo; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family invites friends to call Thursday March 8, from 4-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 10 a.m. funeral Mass will be held Friday March 9 at St. Mary’s Church 95 N. Main St. Canandaigua. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
