Alta (Ellie) A. Richards
“Aunt Babe”
Canandaigua- Alta Richards, 86, former Outlet Rd resident, passed away April 10, 2012 at the Ontario County Health Facility.
Ellie was raised in Parma, NY. She worked at Finger Lakes Race Track and had a love for horses, cats and dogs.
Ellie is survived by many family and friends.
Ellie was the youngest of six children. Her brothers, Harold, Willis Jr., Elsworth, and Junior Merle died in Pearl Harbor. She also had an infant brother, Clarence that passed away.
A celebration of Ellie’s life will be held Friday April 20, at 9 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 888 Victor-Egypt Rd. Victor. Arrangements are under the care of Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. Canandaigua.
