Obituary of Joan A. Hoppe

Joan Hoppe (Wetherbee) February 7, 1944 to March 23, 2024 Joan Hoppe, 80, of Bloomfield, NY, passed away on March 23, 2024, peacefully at the Hurlbut in Avon, NY. Joan was born February 7, 1944 in Wellsboro, PA to Clair and Doris Wetherbee. Joan leaves behind her beloved children, Glory (Tim) Wilson of Wellsboro, Ron (Linda) White NY, Wesley White NY, Bernard (Nikki) White NY, Jodi Boop (Lee) NY, Patrick White PA, Daniel White NY and Will (Jen) White of MO; siblings, Janet, Janice, Linda, Barb, Doug, Dave and Lee; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces & nephews and all those that called her "Momma". Joan was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Joseph, who she married in 1980; her parents, Clair and Doris; brothers, Dave and Lee and grandson, Brad. Joan worked for Bennett's Fur farm in Bloomfield, NY for several years before a job change, in which she spent the remainder of her working career working at the Village Garden Store at Pittsford Tree and Landscaping, Mendon, NY where she enjoyed working and everyone became her family.
