Obituary of Isabelle Mary Menken

Isabelle Mary Menken (Mann) September 16, 1924 - April 9, 2024 Isabelle Menken, 99, of Bloomfield, NY, passed away on April 9, peacefully in her home. Isabelle was born at home on September 16, 1924, in Henrietta, NY to Ida and James Mann. She attended Henrietta High School and was a graduate of the class of 1942. Isabelle leaves behind her beloved daughter Susan Jenner, her brother Bill (Carole) Mann, her brother-in-law Ernie (Sharon) Daggett, her grandchildren Ryan (Liz), Rachael, Troy, Kelly, Christal, Julie, and Andy, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all her friends at the Kingdom Hall. Isabelle was preceded in death by her loving first and second husbands, Robert Daggett and Leo Menken; her sons, Gary and James Daggett; and her siblings: Shirley Margeson, Edward Mann, James Mann, Frederick Mann, Lois Rossignolo, and Nancy Smith. Isabelle embraced life with grace, kindness, tolerance, and generosity. Raised by their mom, she and her six siblings lived through difficult times but remained close and visited each other often. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching the birds at the feeder. If times were hard, when you went to visit, she would say, yes, sad things happened, but right now we are here together, and we are going to enjoy our time together. Isabelle was a kind, gentle soul. She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting her whole life. She never sold any of her paintings professionally, but many family members enjoyed receiving one of her paintings to display in their homes. She especially loved to paint landscapes and lighthouses. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. To share a memory or express condolences online please visit www.fullerfh.com
