Obituary of Donald P. Morse

Donald "Don" Morse, 77, of Ashland, MA passed away on April 13, 2024 in Canandaigua, NY following a long illness. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Donald and Natalie Morse as well as his sisters, Maureen Smith and Christine Symonds. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Phyllis "Penny" Morse, sons, Eric (Bronwyn) and Jeremy (Brianna), and his daughter, Julie (Patrick) Kelly. Don was fortunate enough to meet his grandson, Cameron, whom he adored. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Morse, Natalie Barclay, Jaqueline Spinetta and brothers, Michael and Ralph Morse and several nieces and nephews. He obtained his undergraduate degree at UMass Amherst and his Masters at Northeastern. Don spent his career working as an engineer for Polaroid, Raytheon, and General Dynamics. He was a lifelong Boston sports fan and especially enjoyed following the Boston Celtics. He also enjoyed watching motorsports of all types. Don's favorite pastime was supporting his children in their hobbies and sports, he never missed one of their events. Private services were held with immediate family.
